Structure and Body

Objectives of Project

1. To introduce and create an awareness of anthropometry and ergonomics and relating it to form and space.

2. To introduce basic understanding of structure in general, design principles and architectural terminologies on application to spatial and form configuration.

3. To create and work on a structure installation and understand material, quality of space, human scale, and articulation form.

We were to further our understanding of the design elements and principles, processes and approaches in generating ideas, developing design and translating it from geometry into form. We have to produce a structure that is 1 to 1 scale which will fit us inside and also to ensure that we are fit and have a good amount of space when we were in it

REFLECTION

During this assignment I have gone through a lot of hard time as it is not easy to build a one to one model however with the help from the tutor and friends I had successfully finished my project and I have learned a lot on model building body measurements (human scale) and the way to build a one to one building and I hope everything I learn from this assignment would be useful in the future.
